Apple never ceases to amaze. At the traditional spring presentation, held this year on May 7th, the company unveiled its novelties. Get comfortable, because right now we’ll talk about the top products that have caused quite a stir.

iPad Air: powerful processor, large screen

This product in the Air lineup has received an enlarged display and for the first time is available in two sizes – 11 and 13 inches. Previously, the larger diagonal was only available in the Pro lineup! Now, there’s no need to pay extra for the excessive capabilities of the “Pro” if your goal is moderate work or gaming, studying, and entertainment.

The front ultra-wide 12MP camera is now located on the long side of the iPad’s body – perfect for comfortable use in horizontal orientation. For example, during video calls or when connecting a keyboard. The main camera also has 12MP – allowing for high-quality photos and videos.

The new model is equipped with the powerful M2 chip – the same as in the previous generation iPad Pro. Compared to the previous model of iPad Air with the M1 chip (which was introduced two years ago), the power of the new model has increased by 50% right away. Moreover, the new model is three times faster than its predecessor with the A12 Bionic chip! All applications now open instantly, and switching between them can be done without delays. It’s like flipping through the pages of a book.

In addition to the impressive internals, the iPad also impresses with its stylish updated design, featuring four new colors. Touch ID is located in the lock button, and for charging and connections, there’s a USB-C port.

Also onboard is excellent battery life, fast Wi-Fi, and super-fast 5G – all to keep you connected.

In the base version of the iPad Air, 128GB of memory is provided, which is twice as much as in previous models. Configurations with 512GB and 1TB are also available.

iPad Pro: the thinnest tablet in history with an OLED Ultra Retina XDR display.

Additionally, Apple unveiled the iPad Pro with the latest M4 processor, built on second-generation 3-nanometer technology. “Under the hood,” it boasts up to 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores. The company claimed a 50% increase in power compared to the previous version! And yet, the new processor consumes much less energy for the same tasks.

Thanks to the next-generation graphics processor and powerful Neural Engine, the new iPad Pro is an incredibly powerful device for artificial intelligence: the M4 device performs 39 trillion operations per second!

The iPad Pro is not only powerful but also the thinnest gadget in Apple’s history. The thickness of the tablets is only 5.3 mm for the 13-inch model and 5.1 mm for the 11-inch model. A new level of portability and performance!

Another revolutionary change is the new OLED Ultra Retina XDR display. For the first time in the iPad lineup, Apple has applied a unique technology by combining two OLED screens that work independently of each other (Tandem OLED Display). The device’s maximum brightness is 1600 nits for viewing HDR content. The refresh rate varies from 10 to 120 Hz.

The body of the new iPad Pro is made from recycled aluminum. Available colors include silver and “Space Gray.” Like in the iPad Air, the updated 12MP camera has been moved to the long side for horizontal usage.

Four memory options are available:

  • 256GB;
    512GB;
    1TB;
    2TB.

The Apple Pencil Pro comes with new features and a built-in gyroscope.

The updated Apple “Pencil” has set a new standard for styluses. The Apple Pencil Pro understands you tactically: simply squeeze it lightly to open the settings control panel.

Additionally, the signature Apple stylus has, for the first time, received a gyroscope. With it, you can adjust the position of objects in your project. And the built-in vibrator will signal when objects are perfectly aligned. The “Pencil” seems to understand you without saying a word!

Another innovation is the support for “Locator.” Now you can track the location of your Apple Pencil Pro on the map. However, unlike iPhones or AirPods, the stylus will not emit an audible signal. It charges, connects, and is stored using magnets on the side of the iPad.

And, of course, “on board” are all the features that we love about the Apple Pencil – pixel precision, no lag, support for tilt, and palm rejection. You’ll be able to seamlessly transfer your ideas into applications.

Magic Keyboard and Smart Folio Case are also available.

Created specifically for the new iPad Pro, there are two colors corresponding to the shades of the tablets: black and white. Both come with an aluminum palm rest for comfortable work.

The updated trackpad with tactile feedback is similar to the one built into the MacBook. Additionally, the keyboard features keys with new function rows for controlling brightness and volume.

The Magic Keyboard attaches with magnets, and the Smart Connector instantly connects power and data without Bluetooth.

The Smart Folio Case attaches to the iPad Pro with magnets and supports multiple tilt angles for maximum flexibility.

Soon, the new releases will be available for purchase at iSpace stores. The official price in Kazakhstan is not yet known: follow our Instagram to not miss the start of pre-orders!
