During the presentation held on the night of October 31, Apple introduced the MacBook Pro and iMac. These are the first computers based on processors from the M3 series, built using a 3nm process technology. They promise even greater performance and battery life. By the way, this is the second update for the MacBook Pro with 14 and 16-inch screen sizes within a year.

M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max: Incredibly Fast and Powerful

The new generation MacBook Pro is created using 3-nanometer technology and features an entirely new graphics processor architecture. These are the most advanced chips currently available for professional computers.

Understanding their capabilities is straightforward: each chip outperforms its “younger” sibling. For example, a MacBook Pro with the base M3 processor works 60% faster than the 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M1. The M3 Pro guarantees 40% higher work speed than the M1 Pro. As for those who like to push the pedal to the metal, the M3 Max is ideal. When compared to the M1 Max, its performance is 2.5 times higher, and if you recall the existence of the most powerful MacBook Pro with an Intel processor, it surpasses it by 11 times.

It’s worth noting that the latest MacBook Pro models feature hardware-accelerated ray tracing for the first time. In simple terms, combined with the new graphics architecture, this will allow you to see more realistic shadows and reflections in games and render content 2.5 times faster.

In addition to this, the MacBook Pro has become even more energy-efficient. Just imagine, up to 22 hours of battery life. And the best part is that disconnecting from the power source won’t affect its performance.

Displays with Extremely High Dynamic Range

There are no fundamental breakthroughs in this regard. The Liquid Retina XDR display still holds the title of the world’s best display for laptops, with a constant brightness of 1000 nits and peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content. The only change is that the developers have added 20% more brightness to the screen when working with SDR content.

The display provides an impressive contrast ratio, realistic and vibrant colors, deep shadows, top-notch detail, and a stunning viewing angle. Working on a Mac will be comfortable even in bright sunlight.

If you work with graphics, you will undoubtedly appreciate these specifications. Additionally, each Liquid Retina XDR display is factory-calibrated and supports ProMotion and Pro Reference modes.

As for the additional support for external displays, with the M3 chip MacBook Pro, you can connect one display, while the M3 Pro and M3 Max models support two and four displays, respectively. Programmers, photographers, video editors, designers, artists, and professionals from many other fields will be thrilled by this capability.

In the new laptops, the camera remains at 1080p resolution, featuring a studio-quality three-microphone array and a six-speaker sound system – all stable without changes. They also support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

New Space Black Color – Blacker than Black

Apple has added a new color to the MacBook lineup, Space Black. The dark aluminum looks very striking. Users are likely to appreciate it not only for its aesthetics but also because the Mac’s surface will now be more resistant to fingerprints due to anodization.

However, this exclusive color will only be available for models with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. In addition to black, there will be the Silver option. The “base” M3 will be available in the classic Space Gray and Silver colors.

The new MacBook Pro 14 and 16 are indeed impressive! Soon, they will be available for pre-order on our website. Stay tuned for updates to be among the first to secure these top-of-the-line devices.
