The comparison of the iPhone 16 and 15 in our review also involved the battery. The battery allows the latest version of the smartphone to run for 22 hours in video playback mode, while in the 15 series, this indicator only reaches 20 hours. You’ll surely notice the difference if you use the phone extensively, use the camera, or want to maximize your AI operation. 
It takes 1 hour 42 minutes to fully charge the battery — 8 minutes less than the previous version. MagSafe wireless charging power has now been increased to 25W and the adapter to 30W.
Reason 5: Artificial Intelligence
If you want to integrate AI features into your routine, buying the iPhone 16 is a good decision. Among all the base versions, for now, it’s the only one that supports Apple Intelligence in full. Key features:
- photo processing — remove objects in the picture, search for content in the gallery;
- message sorting — analyze content and prioritize;
- text handling — change phrasing and tone, edit and adapt text.
Siri also works better: it can analyze context, respond faster to commands. Built-in artificial intelligence keeps your specific behavior in memory and adapts its suggestions and individual prompts to you. Now you can have a personal assistant in your pocket.
Bottom Line: Why Is iPhone 16 Better Than 15?
iPhone 15 is a comfortable and productive phone that supports major iOS updates. But if you want to improve photos and videos or interact with artificial intelligence, it’s reasonable to switch to the iPhone 16.
